On this episode of Pages and Panels, Kyle and Nikki are joined by returning guest Riley Rossmo. Riley returns to break down the first issue from his new Image series with writer Alex Grecian and colorist Ivan Plascencia, Rasputin. The series takes a new and different look at the mad monk at many stages in his life all the way up to his death. Riley discusses referencing from history for character design, working with Alex again, laying out pages, giving violence emotional weight and refuses to acknowledge there was a Neverending Story II. A big thanks as always to Riley for coming on and discussing his process and the issue. Make sure to grab Rasputin both instores and digitally. Riley has a huge library of work and there is not a single one not worth reading so make sure to just buy everything his name is on, you won't be disappointed.
